Getting here
From Rome
- Roma Tiburtina Station: The most direct way to reach the coast, and thus our hotel, is to go to Roma Tiburtina station. From there, take the Marozzi bus line, which connects Rome to Sorrento or Amalfi. Obviously the number of buses is very limited so we recommend you inquire early to avoid disappointment.
- Fiumicino or Ciampino Airport: After reaching Rome Termini Railway Station by train from Fiumicino or bus from Ciampino, the next step is to get to Naples. Your choice of which train to take depends solely on the convenience with which you intend to travel. The fastest way is the Freccia Rossa, the “Red Arrow”, which takes only an hour. The Intercity takes about two, the Interregional up to four. Obviously the less time the trip takes, the higher the ticket price (to be purchased and validated at the train station).
When you get to Naples, take the Circumvesuviana line which will bring you to the Sorrento station.
The Sita bus line leaves every 30 minutes from the Sorrento station and connects the Sorrento peninsula to Amalfi (tickets must be purchased at the station and validated on board).

From Naples
- From Capodichino Airport: Take the Curreri bus line directly to Sorrento (tickets may be purchased directly from the driver), then simply buy a ticket and take the Sita bus to Amalfi.
- From Piazza Garibaldi: First take the Circumvesuviana railway to Sorrento (buy and validate your ticket at the station). From there buy a ticket for the Sita line, and take the Sorrento-Amalfi bus, validating you ticket on board.

Other Alternatives
Obviously, you can reach the coast by boat from the dock in Naples, as well as opt for the alternative of using your own means of transportation.
Keep in mind that all the areas are located along highway 163, a narrow, winding path with sharp turns and one lane for each direction of traffic.
For this reason, our advice is to leave the driving in these parts to people with more experience, perhaps taking advantage of a taxi service that guarantees to get you to the hotel in complete relaxation, or by using public transportation if you are on a tighter budget.
